•  How do I make a call?
After you've obtained a Ready-2-Call Card and your personal identification number (PIN), you can make your call from any fixed line or mobile phone.

To do so, simply:
  • Dial 6518 1990 (from Singapore)
  • After hearing "Press 1 for English ... 2 for Chinese ... 3 for Tamil ... 4 for Bahasa", select your preferred language.
  • Upon hearing the message "Please enter your PIN number", key in your PIN
  • After hearing your available credit and the announcement, "Please enter the number you wish to dial", key in your destination number: Country Code + Area Code + Tel No. + #

When you've successfully completed the above steps, your call should then be connected, and you will an announcement informing you of your available time available for your call.

If you wish to utilise our Call-Back service, simply dial 6518 1991. You will hear a ringing tone, before the line is automatically cut. Hang up your phone and wait for our 'call-back' call. Answer the call, and make your international (IDD) call as per the above steps.

•  How do I end a call?
For Direct IDD calls, simply hang-up your phone. For Call-Back calls, press * # after your call to end it, otherwise you may be charged for further airtime (up to an additional 2 minutes) for your call.

•  What & where is my PIN?
Your Personal Identification Number (PIN) is a special number that allows you to access the available credit on your account - you should keep this number safe and not reveal it to others.

Your PIN is on the Ready-2-Call card. It is printed under the silver coloured scratch away portion of the card. You can easily scratch away the protective silver film using a coin or a key.

•  Why is my call not going through?
Please ensure that you have inputted your PIN correctly. Once you have done so, you should hear a voice announcement.

Please ensure that you are using a tone dial phone or dialler as the system can only recognise inputs via tone.

Also, please ensure that you have correctly entered the number you wish to call. For example, to make a call to the USA, you'll need to dial:
1
Country Code
716
Area Code
415 8725
Telephone number
#
Connect the call

You do not need to dial 001 or 00 before the country code.

If you may experience any other problems with your call and are unable to make your call, please contact our Customer Service hotline at +65 6235 5033. We are here for you every Monday to Fridays 9.30am to 5pm (Singapore time), except on public holidays.

•  How do I know how long I can talk for?
After you have entered the number you wish to call, you will hear an announcement of the number of minutes and seconds you have for your call (for example, "Time remaining: 700 minutes 34 seconds").

•  Can I insert this card into a public phone?
No, the Ready-2-Call card will not work when inserted into a public phone.

•  Where can I make calls with the Ready-2-Call card from?
You can place calls from any fixed / land line, mobile phone or public pay phone. Please note, however, that airtime and talk time are applicable and charged by telecommunication operators - kindly check with your telecommunications operator regarding the specific charges.
•  Where can I call to with my Ready-2-Call card?
You can call anywhere in the world - any landline, mobile phone or fax.

•  How can I send a fax using the Ready-2-Call card?
From your fax machine,
  • Dial 6518 1991
  • Select the language, input your PIN, input the fax number you wish to call
  • Send your fax as per normal

•  What are the rates for calling to a specific country?
Click here to find out the calling rates for the destination country that you wish to call.

•  Do the rates differ for different times and days?
The rates are the same 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

•  Does my card expire?
Your card will expire 180 days after your first use or by the expiration date printed on the card / shown on our website shopping cart, whichever is the earlier.

•  How do you charge me for my calls?
Calls are charged in second blocks. (As far as we know, we are the only company offering per second billing for a prepaid phone card in Singapore. So now, you can speak for as long or short as you like and not "waste" minutes and seconds, which is likely to be the case with services which charge by 1 to 2 minute blocks.)

•  What happens if I lose the card? Can you track it or replace it for me?
Please keep your Ready-2-Call cards safe. Cards sold will not be replaced.

•  Is there Call-back function on the Ready-2-Call card?
Yes there is. You need to dial 6518 1991 and wait for the system to call you back. The Call-back function is not available if you are calling from outside of Singapore. If you call +65 6518 1991 from overseas, you will be directed to the Direct IDD Dial function.

•  What are the calling rates for Call-back calls?
The calling rate is as per that for Direct IDD calls (click here) + SG$0.0004/second + a Call-back fee of SG$0.02 per call.

•  Why are Call-back calling rates higher than that of Direct IDD calls?
The higher rates charged for call-back calls reflects the incremental cost charged by the local operator to call you back on your fixed or mobile line.

•  How do I save my PIN onto the system so that I don't have to punch in the long string of numbers every time I call?
You can use our special PIN Saver function to save you the hassle of keying in your PIN every time you call. To do so, simply call from the number that you wish to register (please note that the caller display of this number must be available and not hidden), input your PIN and key in *2. Your number will be registered in our system and the next time you call with this number, you will not need to input your PIN again.

For example,
  • You call the system from your mobile phone (number 9123 4567)
  • The system asks you to choose your preferred language and enter your PIN.
  • You enter your PIN, then dial *2
  • The system will announce "your number has been saved"
  • You continue to call your friend in the US (1 716 8473403)
  • After you have spoken to him you hang-up.
  • The next day, you want to call your friend again, so you call the system from your mobile phone (number 9123 4567)
  • Immediately, the system will announce your credit remaining
  • The system does not ask you to input your PIN today because it has been saved.
  • You can proceed to input your friend's telephone number directly.

However, please note that you should just register your number with one card (until the card is expired or the credit available is completed used up).

•  Can I cancel the PIN Saver function?
If you no longer want the PIN to be saved for your number, you can dial *3 after you call into the system
  • From the phone line that currently has the PIN Saver function
  • Call the system on 6158 1990
  • Once you hear the system say, "Credit remaining ..."
  • You dial *3

•  How do I top up my existing card?
You can add / consolidate credits of two or more Ready-2-Call cards onto one card by:
  • Key in the PIN of one card (card 1, who is to be the 'Master' card)
  • Dial *1
  • Key in the PIN of the other card (card 2)

This action will transfer all the credits from you card 2 to card 1. Card 2 is no longer valid. Repeat these steps for any other cards which you wish to consolidate the credit for.

•

After I have topped-up my card, which card's expiration date is valid?
If you have topped-up one card's credit with another, the expiration of your consolidated credits will as per that of the card with the latest expiration date.

For example,
Card 1 expires 30th June
Card 2 expires 15th Sep
If you consolidate the credits of Card 2 into Card 1 or vice versa, the expiration date of your consolidated credits would be the later of the two, that is, 15th Sep.
