The Link Service is available in units of S$15 or S$100 (the latter will entitle you to S$15 of FREE credit). If you've already made up your mind,
Terms and Conditions Apply.

With the Link Service, you will no longer incur roaming charges. Calls are diverted to our system (local Singapore number) and thus, your Singapore operator will charge this as a local Singapore call. Our system will then divert calls to your designated overseas number at the above prevailing rate. Minimum charge per call is 30 seconds and billing is in 6-seconds increment. All accounts are maintained free of charge for the first 7 days. A monthly fee of $3 is chargeable thereafter.
Important Notice: Following increased cost from our wholesale carriers and data centres, the monthly maintenance fee for Link Service accounts will be revised to S$5 from 1 Dec 2011.

What is the Link Service (which I found in my Ready-2-Go Travel Kit)? Can I use the Link Service to top-up the credit on the prepaid SIM card? When you use a local SIM card of your destination whilst overseas, this normally means that friends who don’t have your overseas number cannot find you. The Link Service resolves that. It is an international call forwarding service, which lets you forward your Singapore calls to your overseas number, so you always stay contactable. However, do note that the Link Service and the prepaid SIM card we distribute are two separate products. As such, you cannot use your Link Service credits to top-up the credit of the prepaid SIM card. |
| • |
Are my SMS also forwarded? The Link Service only forwards your calls and not your SMSes, which will continue to be received on your Singapore number. It is free to receive your incoming SMS on your Singapore number when you’re overseas, thus there’s no point for us to forward your SMS and charge you for it since our solution is to get you the optimal savings. What you may wish to do is to occasionally plug in their Singapore SIM card to download your SMS into your phone, which you can then reply to with your overseas number to save on roaming. |

How are forwarded calls to an overseas number charged? Would I also need to pay IDD call rates to my Singapore operator? Forwarding your calls can save you up to 98% versus normal roaming rates you may otherwise pay when you're overseas. Forwarded calls are charged as follows: 1. Your Singapore Operator - Your Singapore operator will NOT charge you any IDD call charges for diverting your calls nor would there be any roaming charges. However, since you’d need to forward your calls to our system (i.e. to a local Singapore number - your Personal Link Number / PLN), this would be charged as a LOCAL CALL. If you have free outgoing minutes in your monthly call package, this would be FREE, else the general market rate is S$0.16 (subject to change). 2. Our Charges - Once your calls get forwarded to our system, we’d forward it to your designated overseas number at the prevailing Link Service rates. Charges will be deducted from the prepaid credit in your account. Click on the "Rates" tab above for the latest rates. Minimum charge per call is 30 seconds and billing is in 6-seconds increment. 3. The Overseas Operator - When you answer a call on your overseas number, check if incoming calls with the overseas operator are free. This will be dependent on the different phone packages out in the market. Example: Here's the cost breakdown when you forward your calls to HK China Mobile Peoples number while you’re in HK: Component 1 (assuming S$0.16) + Component 2 (S$0.15) + Component 3 (S$0.02) Total = S$0.33 vs. Incoming roaming charge of a leading Singapore Local Operator = $1.36 THAT'S A SAVING OF 76% ON YOUR ROAMING COSTS! |
| • | Would I still see a caller display for a forwarded call? Sorry, you would not see a caller display on your overseas number when you get a forwarded call. |
| • | Are there any other costs to using the Link Service? Important Notice: Following increased cost from our wholesale carriers and data centres, the monthly maintenance fee for Link Service accounts will be revised to S$5 from 1 Dec 2011. |
| • | When does my Link Service account expire? The S$15 Link Service account expires 60 days from the date it was first activated or when it runs out of credit, whichever is the earlier. The S$100 Link Service account (which also comes with S$15 of free credit) has a validity period of 360 days. To extend this, simply top-up your account. Every additional S$15 reloaded to the account will extend the validity period of the account by 60 days and S$100 top-up by 360 days (up to a maximum of 720 days). |
| • | How do I get the Link Service? The Link Service is available for sale individually in units of S$15 or as part of the Ready-2-Go (Prepaid SIM Card) Travel Kit. Each card comes pre-loaded with S$15 of Link Service credits, which you can use to EITHER activate a new account OR to top-up an existing Link Service account. Get this at any of our retailers across Singapore or click here to For regular travellers, you can opt for the S$100 VIP kit instead, which will entitle you to S$100 + S$15 FREE Link Service credits and an account validity period of 360 days. | • | What's a PLN? The PLN (or the Personal Link Number) is a local Singapore number which you'll receive after you’ve activated a new account with us (as per the instructions). To use our Link Service to forward your calls, you would need to have your PLN and PIN available. Click on the "Instructions" tab above to find out how to forward your calls. |
| • | I wish to change my PIN. How can I do that? We're sorry, but that service is currently not available. |

I've messaged my activation code to +65 82289918 but have not received my PLN and PIN. What should I do now?
Back to top ^If you've not received our SMS response after your first attempt, please turn on and off your phone and try again. Call us at +65 62355033 if you need assistance (or e-mail info@trusling.com during non-working hours). |
| • | I've just received my PLN and PIN. What do I do now? Once you've received your PLN and PIN, you'll be able to forward your calls to the overseas number of your choice. This can be done in 2 simple steps: - Call our automated system at +65 65181999 to register your overseas phone number - Just before leaving Singapore, activate the call forwarding by dialling **21*[PLN]# (from the Singapore number you wish to have diverted). This will forward all your calls to our system, which will then forward calls to your overseas number. |
| • | I am now overseas and did not not forward my Singapore calls to my overseas number when I was in Singapore. Can I do it now? You can forward your Singapore calls to your overseas number with our given instructions even when you're overseas. However, if your Singapore operator does not have good data network reception at your destination, it may not always be possible to forward your calls to our system (i.e. the step where you have to dial **21*[your PLN]#) when you’re overseas. As such, we would encourage customers to carry out this step before leaving Singapore. If you're unable to divert your calls via this approach, please contact your respective Singapore mobile operators to request to have your calls manually forwarded to your PLN (a local Singapore phone number). |
| • | I will be travelling to another overseas destination. How do I forward my calls to my second destination number? |

| • | How would I know if my Link Service account credit is low or has expired? You'll be sent an automated SMS when your account balance falls below SGD3 and another if it falls to SGD0. If your balance falls to SGD0, please ensure that you top-up your account within 3 days if you wish to maintain your PLN, else your account will be expired. |
