There is no difference between these. For your convenience, we have imported the SmarTone SIM packs (on the Vodafone network) from Macau back to Singapore so that you can get them before you depart and able to use it once you arrive. SIM cards are sold at the same price here and in Macau.
What's more, with the Link Service, you can forward your Singapore calls to your Macau number, so you won't miss any of your calls.
You will get your Macau mobile number once you activate your SIM card when you get to Macau (as per the instructions in your SIM pack).
Is the SmarTone SIM compatible with my phone?If you normally use your Singapore number in your phone, you will be able to use the SmarTone SIM in it. Otherwise, if you've purchased your phone outside of Singapore, please ensure that your phone is not SIM-locked, else you will not be able to use any other SIM cards in your card other than that issue by your original telco operator.
Is the SmarTone SIM compatible with the iPhone4 / iPad?Yes, it is. However, do note that like all the other prepaid SIM cards which we offer, the SmarTone SIM card comes in normal SIM card size and must be clipped down to a microSIM before it can be used in the iPhone4 / iPad. While we do not offer this service, it is available at most phone shops across Singapore.
Do I need to register my prepaid SIM card?No, you would not need to register the SIM card. However, you would need to activate it when you get to Macau by calling 1662. Your Macau mobile number will be assigned to you then.
I tried using my Smartone SIM card but the network does not register? Is something wrong? (I am currently in Singapore)If you're still in Singapore, you will not be able to activate the Smartone SIM card. This can only be done in Macau.
Will I be able to surf the web / download e-mails?Yes, you will be able to surf the web / download e-mails via GPRS
