What's the difference between the prepaid SIM packs offered here and that retailed in China?

There is no difference between these. For your convenience, we have imported China Mobile SIM packs from China back to Singapore so that you can get them before you depart and able to use it once you arrive. SIM cards are sold at the same price here and in China.

What's more, with the Link Service, you can forward your Singapore calls to your China number, so you won't miss any of your calls.

Do I get a China mobile number straight away?

Yes, you will find your China mobile number on the China Mobile SIM pack inside the kit.

Is the China Mobile SIM compatible with my phone?

If you normally use your Singapore number in your phone, you will be able to use the China Mobile SIM in it. Otherwise, if you've purchased your phone outside of Singapore, please ensure that your phone is not SIM-locked, else you will not be able to use any other SIM cards in your card other than that issue by your original telco operator.

Is the China Mobile SIM compatible with the iPhone4?

Yes, it is. However, do note that like all the other prepaid SIM cards which we offer, the China Mobile SIM card comes in normal SIM card size and must be clipped down to a microSIM before it can be used in the iPhone4. While we do not offer this service, it is available at most phone shops across Singapore.

Will I be able to surf the web / download e-mails?

Yes, you will be able to surf the web / download e-mails via GPRS with the China Mobile SIM card @ RMB 2 per day (up to 5 Mb. RMB1 per additional Mb).

To activate, SMS ' BLGPRS' to 10086. To cancel, SMS 'QXGPRS' to 10086.
